SCHOOL DIRECTOR

Dr. Tamara Jones DDS, MSD completed her undergraduate career at Southern Methodist University as a Hunt Scholar. She took her dental admission test and received the highest score in the country that year! At Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and chose to pursue orthodontics as her specialty. She then attended The University of Texas at Houston, one of the top programs in the country, where after 27 months of advanced training, she completed her Master’s and Certificate in Orthodontics. 

She has practiced Orthodontics since 2013 and holds a dental license in Texas. After working with many dental assistants over the last 17 years, she has become aware of the amount of time and money that dental assisting students are spending for their education. She decided to open an orthodontic assistant school to provide better methods of learning. The Texas Orthodontic Assistant School was opened in 2022 and is regulated by The Texas Workforce Commission, Austin, Texas.
